Hiawatha

The Hiawatha was manufactured by Mr. Huffman in Ohio. The first bike which was manufactured was called the Arrow in 1930's. The Gambles Department store was one of the first places which sold the Hiawatha bikes. Hiawatha manufactured the Beach Cruiser which was made of high quality metal and flat rubber tires. Hiawatha were very stylish in the 1930's to 1960's. There are a few models which are rare and are very valuable. Bike collector are always look for these bikes. Hiawatha manufactured the Coaster Bike, this bike had one gear and a brake. The Coaster bike was manufactured in the early 1930's and was one of the first bikes to have a brakes.
